Chibi means "little one" or "shorty" in Japanese, and this precious sake bar—quiet, candlelit and as cozy as a boudoir—is exactly the place for whispering terms of endearment. Brass chandeliers and a rainbow of empty sake bottles along the windowsills create an ambience as warm as the drinks. Choosing can be mind-boggling, given the extensive list, but the servers are brimming with suggestions. And pleasing your palate has never been easier: From edamame to mushroom dumplings, Chibi's bar food is an affordable delicacy. Now and then, the bar's adorable French bulldog namesake will scamper around, eliciting ooohs and awwws from patrons. You'll feel similarly about Chibi's.
