The Cub Room is named after the VIP room in the exclusive Stork Club, New York's most famous nightclub once upon a time. After checking in with the maitre d', walk down to a sunken bar and lounge reminiscent of a rich man's study, sans the stuffiness (though there are plenty of bankers and lawyers). Wall-to-wall steel-framed windows provide a great view of SoHo street traffic outside, and the plush, upholstered banquettes invite you to plant yourself down and drink everything in—the crowd included.
