From hefeweizen and cask-conditioned ales to imperial stouts, David Copperfield's pays homage to everything barley and hops-related. Light wood walls and pilsner flags hanging from the ceiling set the scene for over 100 kinds of beer (more than 30 on tap), ranging from the usual Bud and Corona to hand-crafted lagers brewed by Trappist monks in Belgium. (There's also a nice selection of whiskey and tequila.) Since the young locals catching the game on the large screen television in the back room, where light dinner selections are available, tend to be suit-wearing men drifting back from Wall Street, this isn't much of a pick-up spot. But when an appropriate setting for masculine bonding is required—celebrating that million-dollar deal, reminiscing about a recently-deceased pit bull, or cursing a particularly inept quarterback—this is just the place to raise a drink or two.
ExtraFor larger parties (up to 200 people), the entire bar can be rented.
