It may be hard to find a seat at this cozy Upper East Side pub on Sundays, when Aonach is playing. But if you’re a musician, you’re invited to sit in with the band. — Ellen Carpenter

This place is what your neighborhood hangout should be. Great beers on tap, especially the Guiness and Harp, good apps and bar menu at reasonable prices. Buy backs are frequent, and the staff is extremely friendly. The best time to go is for a pop after work or for a pre game on Saturday afternoon. Prime time bar hopping is crowded like all of the upper east.
FRAT-BOY paradise - skip this place!

Ugh! What a bore. Tons of partying post-collegiate snots and frat boys, plus icky beers on tap and an overcrowded pool-table-area.
Mediocre food.
There are much better places to go. Skip this Doc Watsons.
