Much to the delight of Windsor Terrace residents, this long-awaited bar finally opened in the summer of 2009. (Take that, Park Slope!) Located just off the southwest corner of Prospect Park, the cozy wooden space is a haven for beer lovers: There’s a rotating selection of $5 to $9 microbrews on tap (past picks include Sixpoint Bengali Tiger IPA and the hard-to-find Atwater Vanilla Java Porter), as well as a variety of local and imported bottled and canned beers, listed on a chalkboard behind the bar. There are candlelit dark-wood tables spread liberally along the brick walls and a long beer hall–esque fourteen-person table down the middle. The result is a low-key space that feels full, but never crowded.
