"Angry" Wade Hagenbart’s other Brooklyn bar is focused on hoity-toity scotches, fine bourbons…and tasty Tex Mex–influenced pub grub. Tostadas, cheeseburgers, and braised-pork meatballs top the menu. Bearded beer geeks and lugubrious grad-student types pack the voluminous booths—choosing the master-blender-approved Glenrothes Distillery’s Speyside or among a coterie of microbrews, poured in frosty frozen mugs. For the crowd not interested in a $30-a-glass Johnny Walker Blue, there’s a full-size shuffleboard—with ample room to play—a pool table, and the type of throwback board games that would excite even the crustiest of curmudgeons: Yahtzee, Battleship, and Chutes & Ladders. — Hugh Gallagher

Great burgers, as they keep it simple, very close to shack shack style. Lots of TVs for sports: if you hate football dont go on Football nights.Great big booths for game playing bring friends. Not an old persons bard, not for quiet conversations over a glass of Chardonnay. Quiet afternoon weekends bring the kids, at night get ready for sweet beers. Try the Brownstoner on tap: solid. Waitresses (especially the blond) is always very nice, very quick with food and never an attitude.Keep it up! Funsuckers not the place for you.

Most ironic bar: great ambiance, good food (so I hear), inviting atmosphere, BUT LOUD POUNDING MUSIC THEY NEVER TURN DOWN. Have read many comments from people who tried the place once, never went back BECAUSE OF THE LOUD POUNDING MUSIC. I'm in that camp. Hint: TURN THE MUSIC DOWN/OFF and watch business improve almost immediately...
