This skyline-worshiping cradle provides an escape from Times Square’s insane surface-level antics. An elevator exhales into an indoor lounge, an aperitif before the main event: an outdoor deck that awes the crowd of young up-and-comers with a view of nearby satellite dishes and distant high-rises. Eden has none of the melodrama of its sister spot, the club Opera—the plush sofas, the fresh whitewash fence, and lone trees sprouting from the centers of both the indoor and outdoor areas recall, instead, the clubhouse of a well-heeled resort. — Tom Blunt
