This racy, semi-upscale, two-room lounge is done up like a Byzantine brothel: velvet swaths, chandeliers and a suit of armor. The low-slung seating is canoodle central for young couples and NYU kids who will one day spread their wings and fly to hipper clubs. Until then, they earn their stripes with bottle service priced like it’s 2001 ($300 for Grey Goose). A small food menu includes quesadillas, fondue (chocolate and cheese), and s’mores and for birthday parties, the bar will provide a cake and balloons. If the party is for a bachelorette, the curtained-booth can be reserved, so those Pink Pussycat and Pleasure Chest purchases can be opened/orally-stimulated in semi-privacy. Diabolical girlie drinks like the Blush (fresh strawberries, sugar, and a heap of Svedka vanilla vodka) get the bride-to-be doing da butt on the dancefloor in about two sips.
Trademark DrinkDark, Dirty and Hot (black vodka, vermouth, olive juice, Tabasco), $10
