Brooklyn, NY 11235

South Beach meets South Brooklyn at this Emmons Avenue waterfront restaurant where nearby Brighton Beach locals come for their fix of Asian-inspired dishes (largely of the seafood variety) and strong martinis. Underneath the massive color-changing letters bearing the spot’s name, a somewhat surreal interior boasts minimalist white tables and white satin-wrapped chairs, fairy-tale muraled walls, and a blue strobe light. The icing on the cake? TV screens featuring naked silhouettes of women dancing along to the thunderous D.J.-spun mix of top-40 hits and, what else, Russian pop music. After hitting up the dizzyingly extensive wine and drink list (egg yolks! Pomegranate! Cinnamon!), you might even forget that you’re in good ol’ Sheepshead Bay.
Best of New York: Fun & Nightlife
Cocktails at the movies, a Monday-night bacchanal, and a great rookie-rap show.
