When it opened, Il Posto Accanto mainly seemed to be a waiting room for perpetually hopping neighbor Il Bagatto (they share an owner, after all). But this ambitious little enoteca came into its own (some would say even outshining its older sibling) in a matter of months. Amore is in the air, with fresh flowers, silver candelabra atop a rustic communal table and a menu of sensual Italian appetizers. Dozens of Italian reds, whites and a few rosés can be ordered by the bottle, half-carafe, quarter-carafe or glass. Prices, unfortunately, could be gentler, especially in light of the bargains next door.
