This sports bar, located in the thick of Chelsea, is frequented mostly by after-work suits and fans of all stripes (although apparently George Clooney was once spotted here with then-girlfriend Sarah Larson): There are eight screens blasting games with the volume on, and bartenders are quick to flick the channel over to your choice. The requisite cosmos for the ladies (only $6 during happy hour) actually manage to pull in a few odd members of the fairer sex as well. Hanging mosaic lamps provide dim lighting, while mahogany tables with bench seating are perfect for sharing pitchers, although the fancy wood does not justify the overpriced bar food ($12 chicken fingers, $14 crab cakes). The large space, however, is pretty good for party reservations, with a special menu available including quesadillas, chicken skewers, and fish tacos. — Yelena Shuster
