Beckoning with a French-manicured finger to the corporati, Katwalk does its best to offer something for everyone—a wall-sized projection of sports; numerous flat screen TVs for music videos and fashion shows; and a sound system that pumps out the latest rock, hip-hop and R&B. The effect is predictably cacophonous yet for the roving singles that work hard and party harder, it's a playpen of prettiness. The downstairs can get more raucous than the recessed candles and dark wood paneling implies, but up the stairs and across the catwalk overlooking the swarm, a low-ceilinged lounge invites you to recline in a chrome and leather chair while sipping a fruity martini or sampling a snack delivered by your model-ready waiter. Nightly, the space gets crowded quickly, so be sure to secure your spot on the dance floor early.

Picnics with a view, roller-skating nostalgia, and a party for gay headbangers.
