Profile

High-flying flags flank this pub with weathered wood planks running from the outside in. Inside it’s a cavalry of flat-screen televisions bombarding visitors with looping U.S. and international sports games. That’s where the war imagery ends. The drink list’s formidable with 21 beers (and 36 on tap) and 75 single-malt scotches. The menu, like the staff’s brogue, accents the Irish with a traditional breakfast—of rashers and black-and-white pudding—served all day.

A Sport Tavern

Wismer from 10029 | Posted on 2/3/09

Overall Rating: 9 (Highly Recommended)

I very often go there as they have nice hamburgers for $6 or so... They offer a wide variety of beers and the waitress are almost always nice. Even during rush they take time to explain what is what etc. The only thing is that it is a sport bar with many screens and so on so don't go there if you wanna talk with your friends. It's almost impossible to find a place where your eyes won't meet a TV :) The music is good and the overall ambience is good so it's definitely a GO...
