Profile

Let's face it: Bowling alleys were never meant to be cool. Which is why those flashy downtown alleys, with their DJs, high prices, and precious décor, can't hold a candle to classic Leisure Time. Thanks to recent renovations, this twenty-eight-lane bowler's dream boasts all the up-to-date bowling innovations (like computerized scoring and waitresses who bring chicken fingers and wings directly to the lane), but keeps the ambiance of a suburban childhood staple. Leisure Time is also a great place to drink, with reasonably-priced, reassuringly standard cocktails and specials like the "gallon-sized beer tower," which comes to the lane complete with a kegstand-ready tap.

I went to Leisure Time this past weekend....and had an awesome time!!! The atmosphere really puts you in a good mood, and the beer towers help that too! It was a little crowded so we had to wait for about 25 min, but it wasnt a problem for us, we just waited at the bar and got started early on our beer tower! The DJ does some sort of trivia game and it definitaly makes thing interesting watching people race to the front to win! We had a little bit of trouble finding it, its hidden away in the back of Port Authority, but it wasn't too much of a hassel. I would definatly recommened this place to friends, and will reservation in advance next time!
