Shortly after opening BLT Bar & Grill, the W New York Downtown launched its fifth-floor cocktail lounge. They’re calling it the Living Room Bar & Terrace, since its main selling point is a wraparound terrace with views of 1 World Trade Center. As far as hotel lounges go, W isn’t exactly the brand du jour, but Starwood has wisely borrowed a mixologist from the new crop, Charlotte Voisey of Rose Bar (and more recently Cienfuegos), to come up with its $15 to $20 NYC-themed drinks.
