Styled as a country-and-western bar, Lonestar features a full-service restaurant with a Texas-influenced menu, but the rowdiness associated with your standard honky-tonk is absent. You won’t find cowboys slamming whiskey shots here, though you may find some pretty tipsy Rangers fans during the game-day beer specials. The dark wood paneling does give this place an initially countrified appearance, but hang out here for a while and you’ll find a well-scrubbed, somewhat finicky neighborhood bar. — Adam Martin
