Profile
This tri-level emporium for the suits and the scantily clad helped transform the Meatpacking District from freak zone to limousine parking lot. With a ground-floor fine-dining room, multiple bar and lounge areas and a downstairs disco, Lotus has become the center of the nightlife world in this region for a particular brand of suited, unfunky club-goer.
ExtraDuring the summer months, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., the club's sidewalk cafe, a primo people-watching spot, offers four specialty martinis paired with four bite-sized appetizers such as spring rolls or crab croquettes, for $22.
Note
The restaurant is open from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays
