Yes, a velvet rope drapes the doorway, but once inside, the welcome is as warm as the blue-lit space is cool. Martini-sipping twenty- and thirtysomethings slink around to the sleek oval bartop or perch on the accompanying stools (each engraved with an "M"), while Page-Six names looking to chat (or canoodle) in private follow the trail of blue pendant lights to the plush sofas in the spacious back room.
