The counterpart to Miami's most fabulous hotspot du jour, plopped down in prime Meatpacking real estate. The 2,120 capacity ultra-club is owned by Opium Group impresario Eric Milon (he’s also behind the Miami club), along with NYC-based Lotus and Buddha Bar proprietor Mark Baker. The pair added a too-fab interior with fireplaces enclosed in glass-walls, crystal disco-ball chandeliers, a circular-backlit bar, and swank themed rooms with names like The Study. The art in the foyer, now dubbed The Gallery, is the only thing remaining from the Crobar days. Cocktail waitresses in French maid outfits serve a huge bottle-service arena (where a dance floor used to be) filled with banquettes and surrounded by platforms where scantily-clad dancers, both amateur and professionals, gyrate to Top 40s. Aerialists, contortionists, and a gospel choir have performed for exclusive bashes like Zac Posen's post-runway party and Prada princess Sasha P's art show.
Best of New York: Nightlife
