Drag queens and other downtown celebrities (like drag king Murray Hill and Alan Cumming) favor this cozy Bowery bar, but even the scrawniest starving artists look fabulous in the disco-ball light, surrounded by the darling little photos, pictures, and plates that line the walls.

Extra

In an unfortunate redecorating decision, Marion's beloved signed plates were moved from behind the bar to the very top of the walls, so you've gotta crane your neck to distinguish Spike Lee's autograph from Christina Ricci's.
