Nowhere caters to both gay boys and girls. Too bad it's not more popular with them, as the enormous, casual subterranean pub is rarely crowded. (Could it be its slightly off-the-gay-beaten-track location on 14th Street?) It's a shame, really, because the 19th-century-inspired design (all dark wood, brick and lived-in looking), the pool table, and the jukebox combine to create an enticing place to have a few drinks. And the nightly specials after 10pm are a true bargain. Here's hoping people catch on soon.
Best of New York: Fun & Nightlife
Cocktails at the movies, a Monday-night bacchanal, and a great rookie-rap show.
