The Oak Bar was once an exclusive gentlemen's preserve, and testosterone still looms heavy in the air. Order a drink (stiff in more ways than one) and savor the spectacle. Between grand windows overlooking Central Park, huge mirrors hang from ornately wainscoted walls, reflecting a predictable crowd of slick suits, swaddled tourists and taut and tanned septuagenarians. Still, a television behind the bar is the ultimate reminder that things ain't quite what they used to be.
