The legendary ex-ï¿½Squeezeboxï¿½ emcee Misstress Formika knows how to throw a party: Her Area 10009 at Opaline has nearly-nude go-go boys, DJs, and an enthusiastic crowd of twentysomethings who actually dance.

If it weren't for the bouncer, I would give this place a 9. However - seeing as I was harassed and thrown against a wall (b/c 12 other people behind me pushed me into the over-sensitive "bouncer")...... I would have to give this club a 5. And that's a very generous grade. The bouncer, by the way, was working at the bottom of the back stairs on Saturday, July 9th, 2005. Poofy black hair, green shirt and a bitchy ass attitude. Please stay away, unless you're a girl and you love being thrown into walls by bouncers. Hopefully the club will have enough sense to fire this guy's ass very soon.
