This watering hole, the first of the trendy bars on this popular strip of Orchard Street, has remained cool, unlike many of its newer neighbors. Signless and with something of a Little Shop of Horrors vibe thanks to green terraria displays, the space is clean, comfortable and well laid out. On slow nights, it never seems all that dead, and when a popular DJ is spinning and it's packed, the space is long and narrow enough that you can slink away from the crush. A bar that's made a smooth transition from hot spot to staple—what a rarity.
