Peculier is a veritable museum of beer, with a menu organized by country comprising an encyclopedia of the brewing arts. On the walls, you can study the evolution of the aluminum can and deconstruct the semiotics of the neon signs advertising your favorite brands. But like other museums, the place is swarming with rowdy mobs of students during peak visiting hours (Thursday through Saturday after 9pm). To appreciate the collections in relative peace, drop by earlyish or on weeknights, when the bartenders won't be too harried to explain the precise differences between a bock and a dopplebock.
