It’s unclear what’s more off-putting: a sports and billiards pub that doesn’t serve food, or large parties of guys in suits who use the term “chicks” in earnest. Peter Dillon’s, unfortunately, has both. The beer fare is nothing to write home about but is Gaelicized by the Guinness on tap, and the bartenders are jovial and chatty. If you’re a dude just looking to place a wager, drink some beer, and chest-bump with fellow suits after work, Peter Dillon’s is your best midtown bet.
