Good-old boys come to this no-nonsense Irish sports bar for the sixteen flat-screens and bar food that runs the gamut from sliced steak sandwiches to Philly cheese steak, served most nights until 1am. Daily specials, like $7.95 all-you-can-eat-pasta Mondays, rotate each day, as do eight or so drink deals. The TVs air any sporting event from ping-pong to polo, but the biggest draw is NFL season, when patrons can reserve seats—and remotes—at the tables that have TVs mounted directly overhead. The day-time clientele are Queens old-timers, but at about 5:30, workers from the nearby Con Ed plant, Silver Cup Studios and Citibank headquarters start to roll in. — Rachel Corbett
