The posh nightclub attracts women in pointy heels and men in button-downs looking to attract — and attack — each other. Late twenty- to fortysomethings cluster along the two bars, schmoozing over small, stiff drinks ($8-10). Couples and voyeurs get cozy on chic couches surrounding the dance floor while the lucky few grab a curtained nook. Brightly patterned, mismatched wallpaper adds to the lively atmosphere. If the scrutiny in the main room gets too much, the darker and funkier back room is a good escape. Regular DJs Girlina, Cassidy and Stretch Armstrong spin a mix of house, hip hop and rock. — Kate Appleton
