As the name implies, this Elmhurst lounge is sort of a Chuck E. Cheese for the over-21set—a place where a culturally diverse, stylish young crowd can mix cocktails with Connect Four. Aside from familiar board games and some kooky updates like Ghettopoly (in which competitors outdo each other at "buying stolen property, pimpin’ hoes, building crack houses ..."), Play offers big-screen TVs, eight sleek black pool tables, two ping-pong tables, and four bowling lanes with glow-in-the-dark pins and bowling balls dressed up like giant billiards. For more adult pastimes, head over to the futuristic stainless steel bar or the nearby glass-enclosed VIP area. There's ample plush banquet seating lining the carpet-covered walls, but also room near the D.J. to grind out a dance, if that's your game. — Danny Freedman
