At Proof—part sports bar, part candlelit lounge—guys and their dates can watch their favorite games on four plasma screens, seven big flat ones, and a gargantuan projection TV without feeling like they're in the basement of a frat house. The menu includes sports-bar staples like buffalo wings, and on karaoke-night Wednesdays, Cosmos are $5 and domestic beer $3.

A little too intense for after work sports bar

We got to this bar around 7:30 (after work) on a tuesday and didn't find the lounge/relaxing/sports bar we expected.. instead the place was mostly filled with people dancing to really loud dancehall and rap music. We happened to love dancehall so this wasn't an unpleasant surprise BUT it may be a better place to go once you've had a few drinks.
