Located across the street from the Puck Building, this squeaky-clean power-pub has become a popular after-work destination for lower Broadway's creative professionals. Perhaps to make the office crowd feel at home, hardwood panels portion out the bar's shoebox floor space like cubicle dividers, and a glowing back bar bathes thirsty faces in a gentle light reminiscent of computer monitors. Grab a pint, ascend the stairs in back, take a table on the balcony and peruse the ambitious bar menu. From above, Puck Fair's sleek neo-rustica looks like the bar in The Shining somehow transported to Tolkien's Middle Earth.
