Profile

Located across the street from the Puck Building, this squeaky-clean power-pub has become a popular after-work destination for lower Broadway's creative professionals. Perhaps to make the office crowd feel at home, hardwood panels portion out the bar's shoebox floor space like cubicle dividers, and a glowing back bar bathes thirsty faces in a gentle light reminiscent of computer monitors. Grab a pint, ascend the stairs in back, take a table on the balcony and peruse the ambitious bar menu. From above, Puck Fair's sleek neo-rustica looks like the bar in The Shining somehow transported to Tolkien's Middle Earth. As long as the expense account holds out, you'll be king of all you survey.

Brunch

Sat-Sun, noon-4pm

Brew Geeks Take Note
Puck Fair's draught beers, ales, stout and cider are all kept at optimal prescribed temperatures by a state-of-the art tap system.

DO NOT GO TO THIS BAR!

DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS BAR! The bar tenders are crooks. They rang us up for $150 bill when we were there only for an hour and between the 6 of us we had about 2 beers a person. At first we refused to pay that because he was obviously cheating us, he had put shots, food, and other mixed beverages on our bill. Then they threatened to call the police on us. As we were outside talking about what we were going to do the bouncer let us know we were not the first people to get cheated at this bar, that the bar tenders have a history of this. This place is terrible, even if we didn't get cheated I would have nothing positive to say about this place.

Chill..chill...chill

Me and my boy came to NYC for the weekend and on our last night (Sunday night), SoHo was pretty much dead. We got worried that everyone in NYC was asleep after midnight in the city that never sleeps. Coming from LA, we know that times like this call for a chill bar with at least SOME girls, and cool bar staff. My boy met some girls at my hotel and they recommended this place. It was super chillaxed, had good music, nice vibe, and this usually packed spot (according to others we spoke to. When we told people we were headed there they asked if we knew someone!) had seats up front! Plus there were cool guys n gals and a cool as hell bartender. Thanks!!
