Though the feeling at Quo is more laid back than at the nearby monster clubs and ultra-exclusive theme spots, the young crowd is just as polished and the decor is as sleek and trendy as a South Beach boîte's: The single red-and-golden hued room is entered through a pair of watery pillars; walls are covered in large white stones; dozens of glowing, honeycomb light fixtures fuel a sophisticated tropical chill-out vibe. References to Miami are left behind by the DJs, however, who commandeer the energy with house, Café del Mar favorites and radio pop remixes, from inside a giant, bowl-shaped booth in the middle of the room. Don't bother searching for the dance floor, there really isn't one. At Quo, people dance wherever they want—between tables, on banquettes, in the hallway leading to a slim VIP room (with its own bar), and even in the ladies room.
