In the 1990s, the sweet sounds of live jazz floated outside this former nightclub, but now you're more likely to hear pre-recorded pop from the jukebox as locals play pool where the grand piano once stood. The Reservoir (You “dive” into it… Get it?) is a slightly grungy spot complete with wood paneling, vintage beer ads, Tiffany lamps, and a mounted boar's head. Under dim lights, college students crash on overstuffed couches and cluster around circular tables while eating cheap wings and big baskets of waffle fries. A giant aquarium behind the bar entertains loners and the few crusty old-timers. No sequins. No glitter. Just a young crowd wearing jeans and backward baseball caps and picturing ex-lovers as they hold the gun for the Big Buck Hunter II game.
