Local hipsters drink Pabst Blue Ribbon beer and loll about the main room, whose brick walls, ceiling fan lamps, plush couches, assorted chairs and tables convey a laid-back, coffeehouse atmosphere. Rififi is a definite favorite to go, and to take unsuspecting friends to for a totally nostalgic 80s-early 90s night experience on Fridays. The playlist features names like the Cure, AHA, Duran Duran, Pulp, Blur, The Smiths, Morrissey and the -although very recent- Dandy Warhols. Prices are very reasonable and they have most drinks and cocktails. Two points subtracted for: 1. The nonexistent air conditioning for a place that is literally packed on most weekends. 2. The occasional annoying bouncer at the door who lets "regulars" in and keeps out regulars who don't feel like regulars to him.
