This swanky homage to Ping-Pong and cocktails is a cross between a members-only club and an eighties high-school gymnasium. The Susan Sarandon–backed club houses 13,000 square feet of table-tennis space, flanked by a full bar, mini-bleachers, and a VIP room with a D.J. booth and a custom-made mahogany Ping-Pong table. But for $10 to $20 per half hour of table time (depending on time of day), you can ping and pong like the pros, or at least like the girls in cocktail dresses and guys in skinny jeans who hang out there. And not to worry if you're less than stellar on the tables: the club offers private and group instruction, as well as a locker room and showers in case you break a sweat. — Katie Goldsmith
