Formerly known as Brewsky's, this tiny neighborhood hang once known for its impressive selection of brews has been given a rather sporty makeover. The bar’s once solitary boob tube is now nestled amongst eight shiny, new flat screen TVs, and colorful pennants hang above a chalkboard scrawled with sports team standings. (Get it?) But who says frat boys and beer snobs can’t unite in the name of variety? There are still 12 quality craft beers on tap and more than 25 others available by the bottle. If you do choose to imbibe by bottle, the bartender will walkie-talkie the superintendent in the basement, who delivers your cold one. It’s odd, yet endearing details like these, along with the vintage beer steins and yellowing beer cans that line the walls, that keep local folks and beer enthusiasts coming back, as long as the place isn’t overrun by an alumni club on game day.
