Rouge Tomate
|
It’s easy to miss this cocktail lounge on the lower level of Rouge Tomate, the New York outpost of the Brussels restaurant. Make your way down to the narrow two dozen-seat lounge -- separated from the restaurant’s lower level by gauzy, white, floor-to-ceiling curtains – and you’ll have your pick of the cocktail list, whipped up by a mixologist formerly from Chinatown Brasserie. Small plates – both sweet and savory, including a tuna poke with sugar snap peas, Honshimeji mushrooms, jicama, and sesame – round out the bar menu.
Best of New York: Fun & Nightlife
Cocktails at the movies, a Monday-night bacchanal, and a great rookie-rap show.
