Blandly stylish in the way that only models and celebrities with posses seem to appreciate (Justin Timberlake, Nelly, and Leonardo DiCaprio have all dropped by), this narrow, two-story Chelsea lounge can attribute its recent hot streak almost entirely to its cabaret license. But with the barricading of Exit and Sound Factory, and a raid on Plant Bar, legal dancing is no small thing. Grooving takes place in the back room: Just follow the line of cushioned suede cubes that no one actually believes are comfortable. There may be 20 other hot spots that look very much like this, but they don't have co-owner/Missy Elliot producer Timbaland editing the musical selections, and none provides such a pleasant alternative to conversing with the posse you brought. — Jada Yuan
