The owners of Suite 16 have one-upped the hotel-bar trend by creating a hotel-themed bar -- without the hotel. Patrons can order $250 bottles of Absolut from a "Room Service" menu, and stocked mini-bars sit next to the curvy banquettes in the back lounge. But be warned: The glass-encased goodies are for display purposes only -- as is everything here, including the crowd. Sure, it's a fabulously gorgeous scene and all, but it isn't much fun. The curious and inexplicably discretionary door policy -- reminiscent of Nell's back in the day -- won't allow any.
