The lowdown

While breweries are bubbling up citywide, most are cold, concrete-floored spots where there’s little to do but drink. That’s not the case at this bustling homespun taproom in Port Morris. Come weekends, beer geeks crowd the white-tiled tasting room, settling into squishy sofas, battling it out in foosball, and pounding pints of Slow Your Roll Session IPA and hoppy No Resolutions IPA, as well as limited-edition elixirs. When the weather’s fine, folks will flock to the 5,000-square-foot backyard — located beneath a railroad trestle — to fling cornhole bags or simply commandeer picnic tables.
