This swanky sports bar is named after its Murray Hill neighborhood and not, as some misguided early chatter indicated, an affiliation with The Hills’ Heidi and Spencer. The crowd hews to the predictable batch of corporate dudes and freshly graduated frat types, offering a finely functioning combination of class and trash: Waitresses flit around in tight black leggings and tank tops while wine tastings take place upstairs. It’s a roomy two-story venue (littered with over twenty-five flat-screens) with bars on both floors, but space can at times be a treasured commodity: The couches are sometimes reserved ahead of time for bottle-service patrons, so the bar area's four-top high-tables are ever popular. The drink list ranges from blueberry margaritas and the Hill Smash (Hennessy, ginger, lime, and cucumber) to ice-cold cans of PBR.
Brunch offerings, served on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 4pm, range from Eggs Benedict to Huevos Rancheros and come with a complementary large Bloody Mary or two mimosas.
Picnics with a view, roller-skating nostalgia, and a party for gay headbangers.
