Situated within striking distance of Bushwick culinary darling Roberta's, this corner bar is part neighborhood watering hole, part fancy-pants (for the area, at least) café, serving up a solid stable of draft beers and an unapologetically au courant menu (think Kobe burgers and truffle macaroni and cheese). For homesick New Englanders, the kitchen also offers clams, oysters, and other seafaring plates that help tie together the restaurant's vaguely Cape Coddish décor. Extra seating is available in the spacious back room, and the equally spacious basement below will soon accommodate additional dining, drinking, and dancing. Expect a full liquor license soon.
Picnics with a view, roller-skating nostalgia, and a party for gay headbangers.
