Profile

Booth seating at this beer-and-slice spot recalls neon pizza shops of yore. The kitchen doubles as a mini-sports-bar where staples like burgers, fries, and cheese sticks complement flat-screen ESPN. The bar’s specials serve as its siren call, and they’re not to be missed: a slice and a pint of the house brew for $4.50, a full pie and pitcher for $22, and a free slice with every shot. On tap is Guinness and Stella. In other words, the motto, “A pint, a pie, a slice, and a shot,” pretty much says it all.

Basically, Pizza Pub is an ideal place to go with some friends for a bite to eat and some solid drinking. They have a good number of beers on tap and the pizza is above average, especially for the area. The selling point though is how much fun can be had for cheap. If planned out, you can basically get a meal for free by having some drinks. Order a shot and you get a free slice. This is a killer deal. You can pregame before you go out for the night with friends by getting nicely liquored up and a stomach full of pizza to keep you trucking along through the night. The staff are good and the bartenders are friendly. If you've got it in you, take the challenge of downing a "Bar Fight". One of those will get you three slices of pizza, but it's not for the faint of heart. Love this place.
