At first glance, Urge appears to have more sophisticated aspirations than the seedy dive a few doors down. The sleek lounge, occupying the site of a former funeral parlor, houses dark purple walls, orange furniture, tables embedded with plasma TVs, and a cool rectangular bar smack in the center of the space, one half of which is raised slightly higher than the other so as to enhance sightlines to the cuties sitting across from you. (Not that the buff bartenders in between aren't enough to look at—they're usually the hottest men here.) But any semblance of elegance is destroyed once the trashy go-go boys ascend the bar-top, shaking their (padded?) money-makers like this was some second-rate strip joint (much to most customers' delight, mind you). — Sean Kennedy
