Profile

No SoHo boutique hotel worth its location is complete without a sleek, subdued, dimly lit lounge where it's hard to tell who's more glamorous: the staff or the patrons. Thus Thom Bar, located in the understated 60 Thompson hotel. The room has a modern Deco feel: leather club chairs, throw pillows, streamlined ottomans-all made especially cozy by the large, candlelit, marble fireplace in the corner. It's best experienced on weekday nights-look for regular hotel visitors like Kirsten Dunst while sipping divine cocktails like the $12 lychee martini (pictured).
