With track lighting, flat screen TVs, and a weekend dress code, Three Lounge is the closest you’ll get to Manhattan without leaving Staten Island . . . if you had left fifteen years ago. An eight-foot fish tank bathes the long, rectangular space in a blue glow and borders the on-again/off-again VIP room where banquettes, rope-lighting, and scattered gold pillows invite patrons to get familiar. The lounge maintains an age minimum of 21, with no hats or jerseys allowed on weekends. In reality, that translates to girls in backless tank tops grinding with hair-gelled dudes to Guns N' Roses. Three Lounge doesn’t serve food, but bartenders keep menus from nearby takeout joints on hand so you can satisfy at least one late-night craving.
Picnics with a view, roller-skating nostalgia, and a party for gay headbangers.
