Exposed brick, a back corner bar topped in smooth slate-blue tile, and a few candlelit tables suited to double dates enhance the texture of this Park Slope wine bar and restaurant, where T-shirts are as welcome as fancier duds. The largely Italian selection of 12 wines includes a rotating cast of 10 or so by the glass, such as Umbrian Orvieto, big-flavored Primitivo from Puglia and a hard-to-find sparkling red Lambrusco. Liquor is also available, punching up the house’s Blood Orange Cosmo and subtle, mildly spicy sangria. There are 9 beers by the bottle as well, and Bitburger from Germany on tap. Peckish guests can dine on salads, panini and bruschetta, topped with bold combos such as beets, hazelnuts and anchovy, and smoky portobello with fontina, and purists can easily match a sardine and roasted tomato panino with a Sardinian wine, then round out the meal with a lavender panna cotta.
