Located on the fifth floor of a Koreatown office building, Toto’s twelve rooms are available for rent by the hour, and are each adorned with the standard, understated décor one would expect for a karaoke bar: plenty of light balls, a neon color palate clinging to the walls, and wraparound red-leather couches. There are microphones, flat-screens, and a couple of tambourines in each room, so you’ll no doubt feel like a rock star as you shriek out the chorus to “Paradise by the Dashboard Light.” Buyer beware: The place is totally BYOB. Whether that will help or hinder your take on “Nothing Compares 2 U” is up for you to decide (there are a number of sugary sodas and juices out at the front desk, so mix away). — Ben Lebeaux
