Whiskey Blue, in the W Hotel on Lexington Avenue, is ludicrously popular, with an onslaught of desperate-for-a-drink suits descending on the place nightly, looking to score martinis and women. They do pretty well on both counts, it seems, what with a bar staff that knows they don't need to smile or be polite to get a tip and with a significant turnout of young women—tottering on high-high heels with a Cosmo in one hand and a Fendi baguette in the other—thinking this just might be the night they meet the seven-figure man of their dreams. — Matt Dobkin
