When he built his popular Bay Ridge watering hole, fireman Michael Dorgan imported a hand-carved back bar, wooden church pews, antique beer barrels and stained glass windows from a monastery in Cork City, Ireland. The monks there would have to be very wicked indeed to appreciate their fixtures' current mise en scene: the Bud Lite girls make occasional appearances, and on Friday through Sunday, cover bands take the makeshift stage to crank out less than holy hits by Led Zeppelin and Nirvana. Weekdays, 30- and 40-something Brooklynites, including a fair share of firemen and cops, shoot pool (the scene is fiercest when the American Pool Association rolls in on Wednesdays) and throw darts, particularly on Mondays and Tuesdays when the Bay Ridge Eagle league rules the roost.
